Canadian North Log Homes uses hand scribed shrink-fit saddle notches and a proven fiberglass insulation filled V" groove system to tightly fit the logs together. Window and door openings are profiled to allow for log settling and log ends are sanded and numbered using a simple coding plan that allows for easy re-assembly. Thru bolts are used at each corner to provide additional lateral stability for seismic protection and to guard against wind uplift.
